Who it fits
Good fit for
This system suits users with large lawns who want to minimize trips to the dump. The 32 cubic foot capacity and 80 MPH suction handle significant volumes of leaves and grass clippings. It is ideal for those with tractors or zero-turn mowers featuring decks up to 54 inches wide. If you deal with small branches, the chipper function adds value. The low-dust hard top design also benefits users who prefer cleaner operation during cleanup sessions.
Who should skip it
Skip this option if your mower deck exceeds 54 inches, as the system is not compatible. It is also unsuitable for small yards where the 32 cubic foot capacity is unnecessary. The 375-pound weight requires a towable setup, so it does not work for manual pushing. If you need a soft top or a different capacity, consider the other variations. This unit is built for substantial debris volumes and larger equipment.
Verdict: This collection system offers high capacity and strong suction for large yards with compatible mowers. It is a practical choice for reducing cleanup time through fewer unloading stops.
Key specs explained
Air Speed: 80 MPH suction
This rating indicates the velocity of air moving through the hose. Higher speeds help pull dense leaves and wet clippings into the hopper without clogging. You benefit from faster clearing times on large lawns. When comparing cordless mowers, note that this system handles debris the mower drops, rather than cutting it. This spec ensures efficient pickup for heavy seasonal cleanup tasks.
Functions: Tow-behind vacuum and chipper
This describes the dual capability of the unit. It vacuums loose debris while also grinding small branches into mulch. The chipping function reduces the volume of woody waste, allowing you to store more material in the same space. This is useful if you have trees near your mowing area. It combines two tools into one tow-behind unit for streamlined yard work.
Capacity: 32 cu ft
This volume measurement shows how much debris the hopper holds before you need to empty it. A larger capacity means fewer stops to dump leaves or clippings. You save time during extensive cleanup sessions. This is significantly larger than standard mower bags. Compare this to the collection bag size of your cordless mower to determine if you need external collection for large properties.
Weight: 375 pounds
This is the total mass of the empty unit. The substantial weight provides stability while towing, preventing swaying on uneven ground. You must ensure your towing vehicle, such as a tractor, can safely pull this load. It is not lightweight or portable for one person to move far. Consider your towing capacity and storage space when planning to use this heavy-duty attachment.
