LiTHELi vs WORX Mower Comparison
Cutting width
The WORX model features a 21-inch cutting deck, while the LiTHELi mower offers a 14-inch deck. A wider deck covers more ground with each pass, which reduces the total number of passes needed to finish a lawn. This makes the WORX option more efficient for larger areas. The narrower LiTHELi deck is designed for tighter spaces and easier maneuverability around obstacles. You should choose the wider deck if you have a large, open yard. The narrower deck suits small yards or gardens with many obstacles.
Battery capacity
The LiTHELi mower includes an 8.0Ah battery. The WORX mower comes with two 20V 5.0Ah batteries, providing a total capacity of 10.0Ah across the system. Higher capacity generally means longer runtime between charges. The WORX system provides more total energy storage, which can extend mowing time on a single charge cycle. The LiTHELi battery is a single unit. You need to consider if you prefer a single large battery or a dual-battery system. The WORX setup offers more total amp-hours for extended sessions.
Mowing function
The WORX mower supports three functions: mulching, bagging, and rear side discharge. This 3-in-1 versatility allows you to adapt to different lawn conditions and disposal preferences. The LiTHELi mower focuses primarily on bagging. It includes a 9-gallon grass bag but does not list mulching or side-discharge capabilities. If you want to recycle clippings back into the lawn via mulching, the WORX model is the better choice. The LiTHELi is strictly for collection. Versatility favors the WORX option significantly.
Cutting height adjustment
The WORX mower offers seven cutting height positions, ranging from 1.5 inches to 4 inches. The LiTHELi mower provides five positions, ranging from 1 inch to 2.5 inches. The WORX model allows you to cut grass taller, which is useful for drought resistance or maintaining a healthier lawn. The LiTHELi allows for a lower minimum cut height. If you need to mow taller grass or prefer varied heights, the WORX adjustment range is superior. The LiTHELi range is sufficient for standard maintenance but less flexible.
Weight and size
The LiTHELi mower weighs 33.1 pounds and has a compact folded size. The WORX mower weighs 55.6 pounds. The LiTHELi is significantly lighter, making it easier to push and lift, especially for users with limited strength. The WORX is heavier due to its larger deck and dual-battery system. Storage is also a factor. The LiTHELi folds to a smaller footprint, fitting into tight garages. The WORX is larger and requires more storage space. For ease of handling and storage, the LiTHELi has a clear advantage.
Which mower fits your yard size
Small yard owners with tight storage
The LiTHELi mower features a 14-inch cutting deck and weighs just 33.1 pounds. Its compact folded dimensions allow it to fit into small garages or sheds. The 8.0Ah battery provides 40 minutes of runtime, which is sufficient for mid-sized yards up to 1/8 acre. This model prioritizes maneuverability and easy storage over wide coverage.
Larger lawn owners needing versatility
The WORX mower includes a 21-inch deck and two 5.0Ah batteries for extended runtime. It supports 3-in-1 functionality, allowing you to mulch, bag, or side-discharge clippings. The 7-position height adjustment and IntelliCut technology help manage thicker grass efficiently. This model is designed for lawns up to 1/2 acre, offering greater coverage per pass.
Users wanting battery ecosystem compatibility
The WORX system uses 20V PowerShare batteries that are compatible with over 140 other tools. If you already own WORX equipment, these batteries integrate seamlessly into your existing setup. The LiTHELi battery is specific to this mower and lacks this broad cross-compatibility. This choice saves money if you already have the compatible battery platform.
