Who it fits

Worksky 40V Key Specs Explained

Voltage: 40V

This mower combines two 20V Max batteries to reach 40V total. Higher voltage generally means more torque and better performance in thick grass. You get consistent power without the drop-off seen in lower voltage models. This setup suits yards with moderate weeds or dense patches that require steady cutting force.

Motor Type: Brushless

The 1000W brushless motor offers two constant speeds: 2800 and 3300 RPM. Brushless designs last longer and require less maintenance than brushed motors. You benefit from quieter operation and efficient energy use. This type of motor delivers reliable power for small to medium lawns without the noise of traditional gas engines.

Cutting Width: 18 in

An 18-inch deck is compact and ideal for small yards or tight spaces. You can easily maneuver around flower beds, trees, and garden edges. This width reduces mowing time compared to wider decks but covers less area per pass. It is a practical choice for users with limited storage or narrow pathways.

Cutting Height: 1-3 in, 6 positions

You can adjust the blade height across six settings from 1 to 3 inches. This range lets you switch between a neat trim and a taller cut for heat protection. Easy adjustment helps you maintain lawn health through different seasons. You can quickly change settings to suit grass growth rates or weather conditions.

Mowing Function: Bag

The mower includes a 40L collection bag made from a durable fabric-plastic blend. This large capacity holds plenty of clippings, reducing the frequency of emptying trips. A bagging system keeps your lawn tidy by collecting grass rather than mulching or side-discharging. It is ideal for users who prefer a clean finish.

Design and Build Overview

The Worksky mower features an 18-inch cutting deck and measures 29.5 inches in length. The handle is constructed from iron and includes quick-release knobs for folding. According to the listing, this design allows the unit to fold flat for storage. You can store it in tight spaces like small sheds or closets. The compact footprint helps you navigate around flower beds and trees without missing spots. The 7-inch wheels support smooth movement across the lawn surface.

The grass collection bag holds 40 liters of clippings. It is made from a durable fabric-plastic blend that balances capacity with manageable weight. You will make fewer trips to empty it during larger jobs. The cutting height adjusts through six positions, ranging from 1 to 3 inches. You can change these settings in seconds to suit different grass conditions. The color scheme is listed as yellow and black.

The motor housing accommodates a 1000W brushless unit. This component spins at dual constant speeds of 2800 and 3300 RPM. The brushless design aims to reduce maintenance needs compared to traditional motors. The overall build prioritizes ease of handling and storage. You get a straightforward layout with controls accessible from the handle area. The 1-year warranty covers manufacturing defects, providing basic protection for your investment.

Setup And Everyday Use Guide

You must provide your own power source for this mower. The listing states it is compatible with two DeWalt 20V Max batteries. No battery or charger is included. You need to insert two existing 20V Max batteries into the unit to reach the 40V operating voltage. This allows you to use your current battery ecosystem without buying new power cells. The setup process is straightforward once you have the batteries ready.

The iron handle uses quick-release knobs to fold down instantly. This design lets you store the mower in small sheds or garages. Setup is fast when you are ready to mow again. The folding mechanism supports convenient storage and transport.

During daily use, the 18-inch cutting deck helps you navigate tight spaces. The 7-inch wheels allow the mower to glide around flower beds and trees. You can adjust the cutting height using six settings. The range spans from 1 to 3 inches. This lets you choose a shorter trim in peak season or leave grass taller during hot weather to reduce heat stress.

The brushless motor runs at 2800 or 3300 RPM. It provides cutting power while operating quietly. The 40L grass collection bag is made from a fabric-plastic blend. It holds clippings well and stays light. You will make fewer trips to empty it. This helps maintain your mowing rhythm. The unit measures 29.5 inches in length and 14.5 inches in height.

Check Compatibility And Needs

Before you buy, verify your existing battery ecosystem. This mower requires two DeWalt 20V Max batteries, which are not included. If you do not already own these specific batteries, you must purchase them separately to operate the unit. The 18-inch cutting width is ideal for small yards or tight spaces with many obstacles. It may feel narrow for large, open lawns where wider decks save time. You will need to manage the 40L grass collection bag, which requires frequent emptying if your grass grows quickly. Regular maintenance involves cleaning the deck and checking the brushless motor for debris. This model sits as a budget-friendly option for those who already have compatible power tools. It lacks the convenience of a built-in battery but offers significant cost savings if you reuse your existing gear. Consider whether your yard size matches this compact footprint before adding it to your 1 options list.

Check before you buy

• Confirm you own two DeWalt 20V Max batteries
• Ensure your yard fits the 18-inch cutting width
• Check if you need a larger grass bag
• Verify storage space for the folded handle
